AN AUGUST POEM

Like a Babe, cradled in the arms of The Tendency to Self Abuse

Mrs Gray is happy today, her roses are in bloom and
Mr Gray is painting all the rooms blue and on the balcony
he poses for a photograph in overalls with a smile
like he won the lottery as Junior Gray has landed a
starring role in another government propaganda newsreel
- he will play the Son in something authorised.

He is late but stops to admire his reflection in his
lamborghini anyway, forget the braindamage from a falling
glass statue of a donkey as a baby, he is sharp, and high
on the mating agenda with many women I can assure you,
though, his episodes alone in rooms laughing under a ladder,
have scared away a few.
