O COME LET US
Let us imagine Beauty for those no longer able to appreciate her. A busted umbrella among the other junk by the tracks, a puppy running into traffic, ash from the abattoir sifted on the trees, a flower under a tractor wheel, a child who dies laughing at a cartoon. O come let us wonder about those abandoned panties in the shadows of the tenement building where the air is cool, let us rejoice for the animal in the man and the man in the animal. Let us just fucking rejoice, for we are alive now, and that is all there is.
