GO ON, RATE MY POEM

Despite being a glorified vanity press you cannot fault Poetry.com for their tireless devotion to the promotion of the seriously under-appreciated yet glorious and noble art of poetry. Recently I was nominated by The Board of Directors and Advisory Committee to be a Distinguished Member of the International Society of Poets. The privilege will only cost me $263.00 US Dollars. Despite this blatant money grab (yeah right, I have that sort of money laying around - I am Poet in the 21st century for godsakes, only just a notch above a homeless bum in the fiscal states), I have entered many of my poems into their competitions - it’d be cool if I could win some cash to join their society with. Currently I have a piece titled The Newspaper man never waves from my new book Memories like Angels at a ball tripping over their gowns in the Rate my Poem competition. Please read The Newspaper man never waves and rate my poem - it’s painless and won’t take you 2 minutes :D
