CYNICAL, OR SITCHIN?

I have read all of Zecharia Sitchin’s Earth Chronicles series and spent about 15 years examining the evidence and as far as I can tell it is all very plausible and conforms nicely to the chaos theory of something needing to be completely absurd to be true. However my MASSIVE cynical streak keeps nagging; after all, he is one of about 5 people alive who can translate ancient Sumerian cuniform, he could tell us the writings say what ever the hell he pleases, and where are the books by the other people who can transcribe this ancient language? Anyway, and regardless, I still stick to my theory that the mass media are using neuro-linguisitic programming on the citizenry to desensitize our inherent value of human life, most likely in ‘preparation’ of a mass extinction event. How this event will occur is totally open for speculation, but as I said, Sitchin’s hypothesis seems feasible to me.
